Trenicia:Jelena's Ford
Jelena's Ford is a small trading town of about 1,000 people, mostly tradesfolk, upstream from the city of Castronovo on the Savine River.. The population has exploded over the past fourty years as more farming and mining hamlets are founded in the area. The town walls only surround a quarter of the city.

The surroundings
North
Small farming hamlets exist north of the town about a day's walk away. Mining hamlets exist in the foothills and mountains a day's walk away after that.
West
The road to Castronovo winds to the west, skirting around a soggy marsh where several creeks meet with the Savine River. About a day's walk down the road lies a fishing village.
North of the road, just before the marsh, is a small community of inventors, alchemists, and other such eccentrics overseen by the gnome Xander Brilliant.
South
The Savine River forms the southern boundary of the town. On the other side of the river lie farming hamlets about a day's walk away.
East
A few miles to the east of the town lies the Borovia Forest which is overseen by the Borovian Druids. The middle of the forest is known to be less than kind to civilization and the druids help watch over the forest and help the town guard stave off threats to the surrounding settlements. The druids also cooperate with local logging operations to allow the harvest of trees while lessening the impact on the forest.
